We built Sip in 2013 to explore how we could make music discovery more about listening than looking at cover art.
Sip showed us that the discovery experience could be made delightful and fun, but it wasnt enough to keep people listening for more than a second or two of each new song.
Engaging people while listening is the bigger challenge: Why keep listening? Whos behind the music? Whats their story?
Weve taken our learnings from Sip and are incorporating them into our current project: crush.fm
